The new graduate RN will enter our 12-month which provides a comprehensive transition to proactive program offering interactive, evidence-based curriculum design to build clinical skills and competency in patient outcomes, leadership and the professional nurse role.

Our 42-bed Medical-Surgical unit provides care for a diverse patient population, with a focus on medical cases and lighter surgical needs. Med-Surg is the perfect place to gain your footing and grow into a confident, well-rounded nurse.

What you will bring:

A new graduate RN (or upcoming graduate) or an RN who has been licensed for less than 12 months with less than 6 months of Acute Care experience as a RN.
An active RN license by date of hire.
American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers required by date of hire.
Able to participate in all program activities throughout the 12-month residency period.
Ability to work 36 to 40 hours per week with variable shifts & shift lengths.
Flexible to work any day of the week as schedules rotate per union standards.
Willingness to sign a 2-year commitment letter (select units)

The starting salary for this full time, .9 FTE night shift opening at PeaceHealth is $50.21. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.
