Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Status: FLEX/PRN

Shift: All Shifts

Salary Range: $32.50/hr PLUS Shift Differentials including $2 for Evenings, $1.50 for Nights and an additional $1 for Weekends!

What will I do as a LPN with Garden Spot?

  • Communicate pertinent information during between shifts to ensure continuity of resident care.
  • Conduct resident rounds daily, reporting problems to nursing supervisor and initiating corrective action.
  • Identify safety hazards and initiate corrective action immediately.
  • Provide supervision to Nursing Assistant providing direct resident care.
  • Administer and document direct resident care, medications and treatments per physicians' orders and accurately record all care provided.
  • Document resident progress notes as required.
  • Give daily instruction to Nursing Assistants regarding care related to treatment.

What do I need as a LPN with Garden Spot?

  • Current and valid LPN license in PA.
  • Organizational skills and do sequential events.
  • Possess initiative, judgment, dependability, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact and respond appropriately to resident, families, physician and all other visitors/customers on the unit.
