Your responsibilities will include:

Setting up and maintaining the surgical suite with instruments, supplies, and advanced equipment to ensure safe, seamless procedures
Assisting with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping while prioritizing comfort, privacy, and safety
Scrubbing in and partnering with the surgical team by providing instruments, handling specimens, and anticipating the team’s needs
Monitoring patients and surgical equipment throughout procedures, responding promptly and effectively to any concerns
Upholding sterile technique, completing room turnover efficiently, and supporting a high-performing, collaborative team environment

What qualifications you will need:

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
Surgical Technologist certification required
Previous experience with orthopedic and robotic cases strongly preferred
Monday, Wednesday and Fridays 630a-500p highest level of need, but flexible scheduling available

Job Summary and Qualifications As a Surgical Technician III in the Operating Room you will deliver high quality, patient centered care as you assist staff during operative and invasive procedures. You will ensure the operating room is adequately prepared for procedures and act as a preceptor for other techs as needed. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or equivalent. Expert or mastery skills Two years operating room experience preferred. Good communication skills, both orally and written. Demonstrates eye/hand coordination and anticipatory skills. Ability to work with others as a team to ensure quality patient care. Must be free from corrective action for a minimum of 12 months for advancement consideration. Job Summary and Qualifications As an Obstetric Surgical Technologist at HCA Healthcare, you’ll be a valued member of a highly collaborative team that is passionate about delivering newborns safely and with the highest standards of care, while honoring each professional’s skills and expertise in obstetrics and surgery. You’ll prepare the surgical suite, support the team during procedures, and ensure every patient receives compassionate care. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety Providing instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience What qualifications you will need: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date For 150 years, St. Marks Hospital has provided a full-spectrum of healthcare services to Salt Lake City and its surrounding communities.
