As a DaVita RN, you’ll ensure compassionate and professional delivery of all dialysis-related nursing services in an outpatient setting, ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of your patients. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver dialysis treatments and monitor patient status
Assess, troubleshoot, and respond to clinical situations
Educate patients and build meaningful relationships
Work as part of a supportive care team

Qualifications:

Current RN license in state of practice
CPR certification and basic EKG interpretation
2+ years’ experience with acutely ill patients (ICU, ER, Med/Surg preferred)
Strong assessment, time management, and communication skills
CNN certification a plus

Approximately 10% of all dialysis patients reside in a SNF and are transported to dialysis three times a week placing a significant burden on patients and adding avoidable costs to the health care system. DSD Services teammates will have access to all the capabilities and resources DaVita has to offer. Ideal teammates will have experience in dialysis, get energized by a start-up type environment and improving the lives of patients, and have a track record of finding ways to Get Stuff Done (GSD). Teammates must be comfortable working autonomously and have demonstrated the ability to collaborate with cross-functional resources across the organization. What you can expect: In this role, you take responsibility for the complete ongoing care of each patient to ensure their dialysis treatment stays on track. DSD RNs will troubleshoot, and make sound decisions for our patients related to their dialysis treatment and will occasionally partner alongside the SNF staff to coordinate care. The DaVita SNF Dialysis National Float Pool/ Travel RN will cover high-priority staffing needs as determined by the business. The RN can be deployed to dens nationwide. This includes providing RN coverage for situations like new dialysis den launches, increased patient census, PTO/ Leave of Absence coverage that is over 1 week in duration, or covering after a teammate's termination. DaVita SNF Dialysis will provide an hourly pay rate to account for the float requirements.Travel cost is reimbursed (flight, mileage, lodging & food). Scheduling will be posted 2 weeks in advance for the month ahead. To meet coverage needs, you must be willing to meet state RN licensing requirements in multiple states.
