As an RNFA, you would serve as the Surgical First Assistant by directly assisting the surgeon with positioning, prepping and draping the patient, controlling bleeding, providing wound exposure, suturing, mobilizing tissue, and directing other surgical staff. Specialties include but are not limited to: General, Urology, Orthopedics, Neuro, Plastics, Vascular, Robotics, etc.

Per Diem: 8, 10 -hour shifts starting at 6:45am or 10:00am -6:00pm, 11:00am - 7:00pm

Experience

At least three (3) years of experience in perioperative nursing practice as both scrub and circulator.

Education

RN Diploma, ASN required; BSN preferred.
Completion of a recognized RNFA Program (proof of verification required).

Licensures/Certifications

PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
ACLS required.
CNOR Certification.

SUMMARY OF JOB Cardiology Office Nurse in Feasterville PA The PCP office nurse is a Registered Nurse who must be able to perform all aspects of the nursing process under the Professional Nursing Law. He/she functions as a coordinator and liaison of care between the patient and HRPAS physicians. The PCP Office Nurse develops an assessment of the patient's problem based on written and/or electronic communication and review of the electronic medical record. The PCP Office Nurse communicates, as appropriate, with the patients, PCP physicians and others involved in the patient's care, the patient's clinical condition and testing results. The PCP office nurse serves as a liaison, educator, health counselor, and patient advocate, and functions within individual patient needs, physician orders, Redeemer Health policy and procedures, standards of care and the Pennsylvania Nurse Practice Act.
