We’re looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate, care-giving team and partner with us to continue our reputation of caring for people's loved ones. This position is based on the principles of integrated nursing, and includes performing assessments, care planning, interventions, evaluations, and maintaining standards of professional nursing.

Responsibilities

  • The RN develops and implements appropriate plan of care based on assessment and diagnosis tailored to meet each individual’s needs.
  • The RN demonstrates knowledge of medications and their correct administration.
  • The RN plans for and provides resident, family and caregiver education.

Qualifications

  • Must hold current state licensure as a RN in good standing
  • Possess organization skills required to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be able to read, write, and communicate in English

Maintains work environment Restocks the supply area as needed. Follows OSHA guidelines when handling cytotoxic agents, biohazardous waste and any other material potentially infected with a blood borne pathogen. Maintains all disinfection protocols. Maintains equipment according to quality control standards. Participates in professional development activities and maintains current knowledge of oncology nursing by participating in ongoing educational opportunities. SALARY LEVEL: $40-$60/hour Qualifications Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred. 3+ years nursing experience preferred, preferably at least one year in oncology RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Must maintain continuing education requirements.
