Medical Assistant - Montrose (Job Overview)
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM) | One Saturday Per Month

- Work closely with our dedicated providers during exams and minor procedures, forming strong professional relationships.
- Maintain our exam rooms to the highest standards, ensuring they are always ready to welcome patients.
- Showcase your skills by administering injections and performing phlebotomy with care and precision.
- Uphold our commitment to outstanding patient care, making every interaction count.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and interview patients, gathering essential information for their care journey.
- Accurately record medical histories and vital signs, showcasing your attention to detail.
- Skillfully collect and prepare laboratory specimens, ensuring precision and care.
- Assist physicians during exams and treatments, providing support with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain spotless treatment rooms and sterile instruments, adhering to the highest cleanliness standards.
- Provide excellent phone consultations, addressing health concerns with expertise and compassion.
- Perform phlebotomy and various diagnostic tests with confidence and skill.
- Administer medications safely and efficiently, always with a caring touch.
- Keep meticulous documentation of patient care, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
- Manage exam room supplies, ensuring everything is well-stocked and in excellent condition.
- Engage in programs like OSHA compliance and safety plans, contributing to a safe workplace.
- Actively participate in the Performance Improvement Program, always striving to enhance your skills.
- Collaborate with team members to foster a respectful and cooperative work environment.
- Participate in educational safety training programs, embracing continuous learning.
- Ensure the work area and equipment meet Legacy's high standards, taking pride in your work.
- Maintain a safe patient environment, reporting any concerns promptly.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent to kickstart your awesome journey!
- BLS/CPR certification—show off your life-saving prowess!
- Up to five years of rocking experience in similar roles!
- Basic front desk and clerical skills to keep things organized!
- Be a master multitasker who thrives under pressure like a champ!
- Bring your passion for preventive healthcare and team spirit!
- Be a savvy computer whiz with experience in Microsoft Office!
- Bilingual in English/Spanish? That's a super bonus!
- Phlebotomy skills preferred—be our needle ninja!
- Experience with electronic medical records—rock those records like a tech whiz!
