Requirements

  • Required Certifications: BLS, NRP
  • Required Skills: Triage of obstetrical patients, Circulate for C-section, Antepartum, Facility births/month <100, Labor and Delivery, Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation), NST (Non Stress Tests), OCT (Oxytocin Challenge Tests), Reflex checks / edema assessment / clonus, Sterile vaginal exam, Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring), Use of External Fetal Monitoring, Use of Internal Fetal Monitoring, Use of IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, Administration of blood & blood products, Drawing Venous Blood, Starting and maintaining IVs, Use of infusion pumps / drips / IV monitoring, Anticoagulants, Antiseizure, Antihypertensives, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin (oxytocin), Prostaglandins, Terbutaline, Amnioinfusion, Assist with high risk delivery, Assist with vaginal delivery, Forceps/vacuum extraction, Hemorrhage/shock, Recover C-Section, Sterile vaginal exam, APGAR scores, Baby Nurse (“Baby Catcher”), Collect cord samples, ID/Security Banding, Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation, Infant Identification, Epidural Anesthesia, General Anesthesia, IV conscious sedation, Pain assessment & management, Use of PCA (IV), Breastfeeding Support/lactation support, Episiotomy/Incisional Care, Foley catheter insertion/management, Fundus / lochia / perineum care, Wound Assessment and Care, Vaginal Delivery, Cesarean Section, Couplet Care, Multiple Births, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Vaccine Administration, Cervical Cerclage, Tubal Ligation

    Job Details

    • Pay: $2,986/week - $3,178/week
    • Assignment Length: 13-week assignment
    • Shift: 4, 12-Hour 19:00 - 07:30
    • At least one year of experience required
