A healthcare professional is needed to provide nursing support within a K-12 educational setting serving students ages K-21 years. This contract role spans the course of the academic school year from January 5, 2026, through May 22, 2026, and includes caseload management for approximately 37 students with diverse healthcare needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver skilled nursing care across the school environment, supporting students from kindergarten through age 21.
  • Manage complex medical procedures including G-tube feedings and seizure monitoring and intervention.
  • Collaborate with educational and support staff to ensure students health needs are met to facilitate their educational success.
  • Occasionally float to other campuses to provide coverage as needed, though this will be infrequent.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification.
  • Proven experience working with pediatric to young adult populations in a school or similar setting.
  • Must have direct experience managing G-tube feedings and student seizure care.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic school environment with diverse caseload needs.

Location: Blue Springs, MO, with service coverage at Northwood School and potential travel to nearby campuses.
