This EXCITING opportunity will afford fully customized training to the right candidate willing to learn this role. Primary responsibilities. Contributes to the facility interdisciplinary RAI process while following RAI guidelines for completion, computer coding and electronic transmissions of the MDS Coordinates the completion of the resident assessment instrument: MDS, CATs, and CAAs, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the resident assessment Manages the overall process and tracking of all Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents in order to assure appropriate reimbursement for services provided within the Center. Conduct concurrent MDS reviews to assure achievement of maximum allowable PDPM categories. Attends/participates in facility IDT meetings as directed Identifies changes in condition in conjunction with IDT and coordinates scheduling and completion of indicated assessments Integrate information from nursing, dietary, social services, restorative, rehabilitation, and physician services to ensure appropriate reimbursement.
