Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position in our assisted living neighborhood.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing general nursing care to the residents in our assisted living residences, while attending to their medical and emotional needs.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

Current State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
Current or eligible for certification in CPR

Pay Range

$24.72 - $31.81 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.

The Opportunity The Licensed Caregiver – LPN is part of the Health & Wellness Team responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents under the supervision of registered nurses and healthcare professionals. What You’ll Do Helping residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing Supporting residents with medication. Repositioning residents in bed and escorting them around the community Toileting, incontinent care Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate and pulse Observe and report on residents’ health, escalating any problems efficiently and effectively Detail daily reports to Nurse, or designated charge person, at end of shift Provide emotional support and serve as a source of comfort for residents and their loved ones Recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and report to a supervisor Perform nursing assessments, including vital signs monitoring, physical examinations, and health status evaluations, to identify and address resident needs promptly. Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as directed by the registered nurse or healthcare provider, following applicable state regulations, established protocols and infection control practices.
