Duties and Responsibilities Administrative Functions Direct and ensure the appropriate implementation and day-to-day operation of the Facility’s Restorative Nursing Program. Work in coordination with Therapy (PT, OT, ST, etc.) to maintain residents’ highest level of functioning and well-being. Implement the Restorative Nursing Program and Restorative Plan of care. Understand the concepts for use of and how to apply braces, prosthesis, slings, and restraining devices. Ensure timely and appropriate documentation of use of braces, prosthesis, slings, and restraining devices. Ensure adequate, timely and appropriate documentation of the provision of all Restorative Nursing services Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the Director as necessary/required, concerning the operation of the Restorative Nursing Program. Participate in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies.
