We are seeking a supportive, experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team and assist in overseeing our nursing department.

Position Summary

The Assistant Director of Nursing works closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care and the smooth daily operation of the nursing staff. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with proven leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

Support the Director of Nursing in managing daily clinical operations.
Assist with planning, organizing, and directing nursing services.
Monitor resident care to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to nursing staff.
Participate in developing and implementing nursing policies and care plans.
Assist with staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes.

Qualifications

Current RN license in the state of Ohio (required).
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care environment (required).
Previous experience in an ADON or similar nursing leadership role (required).
Knowledge of regulatory compliance within skilled nursing settings.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Passion for resident care and team collaboration.
