DUTIES:

  • Unit Manager will oversee nurses on the unit to ensure medications are appropriately administered, provide vaccinations and render treatment to patients

  • Communicate with physicians, licensed practice nurses, radiologists, laboratory, pharmacy and other medical professionals as needed

  • Collaborate with IDT Team to create and update Plan of Care for each patient

  • Assist with coordination of appointments and procedures

  • Update patients’ medical records as needed

  • Respond to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients and their families or guardians

  • Track and maintain medical supply inventory along with other staff members

  • Round the unit to ensure all residents clinical and psychosocial needs are being appropriately met
