Duties that you will learn through our program and at the nursing facility are:

Turning & moving patients.

Proper usage of medical supplies.

Assisting patients with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, feeding, etc.)

Checking vital signs (i.e. blood pressure, heart rate, etc.)

Assist with other needs of patients

This Position requires the following:

Excellent patient care and customer service skills
Must enjoy working with seniors.
Must have an excellent work ethic.
Must be able to work in collaboration with the nursing team.
Must have a solid work history.
Passing a background check

§ All selected applicants will be required to attend an in-person course once a week at the school in Midlothian, IL as well as clinical hours at a specific site.

§ Staff that are selected by a facility will be required to work at the facility throughout the CNA course and after to receive full payment of one’s course.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) helps patients/residents with comprehensive and personalized health care needs under the supervision of a nurse. The CNA assists patients/residents with activities of daily living to include bathing, dressing, eating, grooming, toileting and exercising. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Duties and Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Director of Nursing or CNA Supervisor, the CNAs work closely with the nursing staff to ensure coordination of patient care. Provides physical support for patients/resident’s daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring to/from bed, toileting, walking, standing, or exercising. Assists patients with daily medication and supplements. Ensures proper resident/patient diet based on their dietary restrictions. Examines patients for open wounds, bruises, or blood in urine. Notes and communicates patient/resident behavior and changes in mood. Cleans rooms and bed linens.
