SCOPE: Under minimal supervision, the Sr. RN provides professional nursing care to oncology patients in accordance with national standards, clinical best practices, and organizational policies. The Sr. RN demonstrates an understanding of physiological, psychological, developmental, and age-specific needs across the patient population, including late adolescence through older adulthood. This role collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to assess patient and family needs and to support safe, effective therapeutic management. The Oncology Infusion Nurse supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote the continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices.
