A school-based registered nurse (RN) is sought for a part-time, contract assignment at an elementary school in Trenton, NJ. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide direct nursing support in an educational setting, ensuring the health and safety of a student with complex medical needs.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing personalized nursing care to a 4th-grade student with PRM3 Myopathy, who requires wheelchair and oxygen support throughout the school day
Collaborating with educational staff to support the students participation in a general education classroom
Monitoring and managing the students medical status and responding to health emergencies promptly
Maintaining accurate health records and communicating with families and healthcare providers as needed

Qualifications and experience:

Valid New Jersey RN license and certification
Experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred

Assignment details:

Location: Elementary school in Trenton, NJ
