Regency Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is a 100-bed, 3-Star skilled nursing facility nestled in the heart of beautiful downtown Wilmington, Delaware. This role is exclusively focused on staff education and plays a vital part in supporting our ongoing culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and conduct orientation sessions for all new nursing and general staff.
  • Perform pre-employment drug testing and PPD testing (pre-employment and annual).
  • Maintain complete and accurate training records for all employees.
  • Develop and maintain nursing department training programs, identifying education needs and new learning opportunities.
  • Create, schedule, and post the monthly education calendar in a timely manner.
  • Track licenses and certifications for all active staff and follow up to ensure requirements remain current, including completion of CEUs.
  • Work Monday–Friday with flexibility to adjust hours as needed to reach 3–11 PM and 11 PM–7 AM team members.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (one weekday and occasional weekends).

Qualifications

  • Active RN license (Delaware preferred).
    Delaware is a compact state—assistance will be provided in obtaining licensure if needed.
  • Minimum of two years of professional nursing experience; prior educator experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for fostering team growth, competency, and confidence.
