Come join our team of dedicated professionals in this leadership opportunity at our Venice Family Clinic. Under the guidance of our Director of Nursing, the Clinical Nurse Educator will: 

  • Develop and provide clinical training to all new hire MA/ LVN and RN at Venice Family Clinic.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate training programs for nursing staff to improve clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Provide ongoing education related to best practices, clinical guidelines, and new technologies or treatments in the ambulatory care setting.
  • Lead educational sessions on patient care procedures, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
  • Support onboarding and orientation for new nurses, ensuring they are proficient in clinical tasks and systems used within the organization.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps in clinical knowledge and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and update educational materials, including clinical guidelines, training modules, and competency checklists.
  • Collaborate with nursing leadership to assess the effectiveness of training programs and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to facilitate joint educational opportunities and workshops.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of evidence-based clinical protocols and best practices within the organization.
  • Maintain accurate records of educational programs, attendance, and completed competencies.
  • Prepare reports on training outcomes, identifying areas of success and those requiring further attention.
  • Monitor and track staff compliance with educational requirements and competencies.
  • Work closely with clinical leaders, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to develop educational strategies that enhance patient care and staff performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to facilitate joint educational opportunities and workshops.


The University of California, Los Angeles is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience. The full salary range for this position is: $116,300 - $264,600 Annual
