About the unit Our sub-acute floor is a 59 bed Medicare unit that has residents with multiple clinical issues including CHF, dehydration, cellulites, diabetes, DVT, and stable cardiac related issues needing monitoring. Nurses work closely with a variety of health care professionals including doctors, social work, dieticians, PT/OT, hospice, and spiritual support. Our sub-acute unit offers a well-rounded opportunity for learning, professional growth and personal satisfaction. Our Chronic Care floor is a 60 bed Medicare/Rehabilitation and long-term care unit and is a great place to learn basic med-surg, I.V. therapy & wound treatments nursing skills. Nurses on this unit along with host of healthcare professionals work to provide and implement the best treatment plan for residents.
