A contract opportunity is available for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing services at an elementary school located in West Chester, PA. This position offers a unique chance to contribute to the well-being and health education of young students in a school setting throughout the current school year (CSY).

Key Responsibilities:

Administer nursing care and treatment plans in accordance with school policies
Provide first aid and emergency care as needed
Monitor student health, including managing chronic conditions and medications
Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student health
Maintain accurate health records and documentation
Educate students on health and wellness topics appropriate for the elementary school level

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Valid LPN/LVN licensure
Previous experience in school nursing preferred but not required
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with children, parents, and school personnel
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
CPR and First Aid certification is a plus

Location: West Chester, Pennsylvania (Elementary School setting)
