- The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for medical/surgical patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
- Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
- Serve in a resource role when oriented and as directed.
- Support the organization’s vision and mission.
- Utilize knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care.
- Contribute to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Associate's in nursing (ADN) or Diploma RN from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN License or Compact License, as deemed by the OK State Board of Nursing.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 60 days of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire.
- Six months previous nursing experience.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Bachelors in nursing (BSBN) from an accredited school of nursing.
