JOB HIGHLIGHTS-Assistant Health Care Director

We are looking for an outstanding individual to help lead the nursing team as an Assistant Health Care Director. You will support clinical services such as resident medication management, health assessments and supervising the nursing staff. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by ensuring they receive excellent direct care.

Responsibilities-Assistant Health Care Director

  • Assisting in the management of the nursing department including recruiting, training, scheduling, and ensuring quality of care
  • Verifying the proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments and orders
  • Participating in regular resident assessments and service planning, and following up with ancillary health care services as needed
  • Assists with the move-in and move-out process including tours, orientation, evaluations and family communications
  • Provides direct care when needed, such as during health emergencies or to fill an open shift
  • Assuming the Health Care Director’s responsibilities in their absence, and relaying concerns to the Director
