Responsibilities

Qualifications

Graduation from an approved school for Physician Assistant Or Nurse Practitioner-Masters Degree.
Licensed or ability to obtain licensure in the state of Illinois

The team rounds in the morning and the APPs present patients with their assessments and plans. APPs then carry out the plan for the day, calling consults, placing orders, admitting expected and unexpected admits. This candidate will be trained in the management of both hematologic and solid tumor malignancies, as well as oncologic emergencies (eg neutropenic fever, tumor lysis syndrome, cytokine release syndrome, neurotoxicity due to therapeutic agents, DIC, HLH, sepsis, and cord compression).
