An opportunity is available for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or RN ASN to serve as a Health Room Nurse in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. This contract position involves independently managing the school health clinic while providing essential healthcare services to students. The role requires collaboration with clinic nurses, communication with parents and teachers, and reporting to the District RN Supervisor.

Key responsibilities include:

• Administering medications and providing first aid
• Conducting student triage and emergency response
• Maintaining accurate immunization and health records
• Monitoring students with diabetes and other health concerns
• Collaborating effectively with other nursing staff

Qualifications:

• Valid Florida LPN license or RN ASN certification
• Pediatric experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Full-time availability to support the school health program

This position is contracted for the school year and is located in Saint Petersburg, FL, serving school environments throughout the Greater Tampa Bay Area.
