HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Job Summary

  • Under the direction of a RN or LPN, performs a variety of routine duties involving care of medically ill acute or subacute residents; performs direct resident care; observes and reports changes in the behavior and physical status of residents; provides a clean and safe environment; and performs other related duties.

Reports: Registered Nurse (RN)/Nurse Manager [JC 031001], RN/Assistant Nurse Manager [JC 030303], or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) [JC 041704]

 

Supervises: None

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

  • High school dip Certified Nursing Assistant (or equivalent) and at least 18 years of age. Basic Life Support (BLS)* certification required prior to performing patient care. (*NOTE: Free BLS certification training provided by Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) on-site as part of clinical orientation as needed).

Required Experience:

  • No previous experience required.

Preferred Experience:

  • One (1) year of job-related experience preferred.

Required Certification/License/Registry:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

 

NOTE: Orientation requires your availability to complete Clinical Orientation on your first  full week (Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm).
