RN Rapid Response Team (Hybrid)

Summary
Provides early and rapid intervention in order to promote better outcomes such as reduced cardiac and/or respiratory arrests in the hospital, reduced or timelier transfers to a higher level of care, reduced patient intubations, and reduced patient morbidity and mortality.
Proactively rounds on patients to identify opportunities for early intervention, while also responding to Rapid Response Team alerts per policy criteria. Assists the staff in assessing and stabilizing patient conditions and organizing information to be communicated to the patient’s provider. In addition, educates and supports the staff to determine appropriate interventions.
Minimum Qualifications
$35.31/hr - $55.30/hr

Minimum Qualifications
- Formal Education Required:
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Applicants with an Associate’s degree will be considered but are required to obtain BSN within three (3) years of employment
- Graduate of a program of professional nursing that is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
- Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio
- Experience and Training Required:
- Current license to practice nursing in the State of Ohio
- Current BLS and ACLS
- Current NIH Certification
- Two (2) years critical care hardwire or emergency department experience.

- Understands all protocols and plans of care for emergent and critical care

- Level of Physical Demands:
- Heavy: Exerts 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10-20 pounds of force continuously to move objects.
