Key Responsibilities:

Lead, support, and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient/resident care
Communicate effectively with caregivers to guide them in achieving care goals
Practice nursing to the fullest extent of the LPN license, as defined by the Vermont Board of Nursing
Conduct routine audits and evaluations of clinical skills within LPN scope
Collaborate with Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, and/or house supervisor in directing care delivery
Help maintain and improve unit workflow and team efficiency
Collect patient/resident care data as directed
Communicate clearly with patients/residents and families regarding care plans and goals
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
