Key Responsibilities:

Provide skilled nursing care including oral suctioning and gastrostomy tube feedings
Monitor for seizure activity and respond appropriately
Assist students with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), toileting, and safe positioning
Collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals to facilitate student health and safety
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with healthcare regulations

Qualifications:

Current Virginia LPN license (required)
Experience in pediatric nursing or school health environments preferred
Ability to perform procedures such as oral suctioning and G-tube feedings independently
Strong communication skills and professional demeanor in a school setting
Comfortable providing 1:1 care and riding a school bus with the student
