Position Overview:


The Registered Nurse shall be the primary care giver and provider of planning, supervising and evaluating nursing care in the physician office setting. The Registered Nurse must possess knowledge of techniques and practices required in the delivery of internal medicine nursing. The Registered Nurse interprets patient data and intervenes appropriately. The Registered Nurse will adhere to accepted standard nursing techniques, practices and procedures in accordance with policies and procedures of the hospital.

Education Qualifications:

  • Required: Graduate of an Accredited School of Professional Nursing

Certification Qualifications:

  • Required: Current Illinois Nursing License
  • Required: Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certification
  • Required: Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training course (CPI) required within 1 month of hire date
  • Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross ACLS)

Experience Qualifications:

  • One (1) year of experience in an office or medically related environment preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health care team and excellent communication skills required

Pay Range:

  • The pay range for this position is $29.99 - 44.98 per hour.

Enliven is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to service home infusion and Infusion Center patients in St. Louis, Missouri , and surrounding locations. The ideal candidate must be well-trained and able to give the best nursing care possible with little supervision. They will educate patients and their families on prevention and healthy habits. The ideal candidate must be compassionate, cool-tempered, and capable of handling emergent situations. They must follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote patient's well-being by providing high-quality nursing care. Responsibilities: Complete daily electronic forms for each assigned patient within a secured Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System. Provide admission, case management, and follow-up skilled nursing visits for home infusion and infusion center patients. Administer ongoing care/infusions for each patient, and provide necessary follow-up as directed by the Physician and Clinical Manager. Confer with physicians and pharmacies in developing the initial plan of treatment based on the physician's orders and initial patient assessment. Provide hands-on care, management, and evaluation of the care plan and teaching of the patient under a physician based on ongoing assessments and as required by policy/regulation. Report patient care/conditions/progress to the patient's physician/pharmacy and Clinical Manager continuously. Implement patient care plan in conjunction with patient and family to assist them in achieving optimal resolution of needs/problems. Discharge patients after consultation with the physician and Clinical Manager, preparing and completing needed clinical documentation. Prepare appropriate medical documentation on all patients, including case conferences, patient contacts, medication order changes, re-certifications, progress updates, and care plan changes. Prepare visit/shift reports, update/summarize patient records, and confer with other health care disciplines to provide optimum patient care.
