School Nurse (LPN) - Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is available to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting located in Bethlehem, PA. This contract role spans the current school year, offering an engaging opportunity to provide essential healthcare services within an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled nursing care to students on a 1:1 basis or within a classroom setting
• Manage student safety and well-being during behavioral escalations by employing de-escalation techniques
• Assist with toileting needs and provide support for students with tracheostomies
• Collaborate closely with school personnel to ensure compliance with health plans and protocols
• Perform routine health assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student health status

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid LPN licensure required
• Comfort and experience working in physically active environments, particularly with children exhibiting challenging behaviors
• Ability to handle toileting care and tracheostomy maintenance
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient, compassionate approach to student care
