Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team of healthcare professionals. As an LPN at Chesnut Hill, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient vitals and record them on file.

• Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment.

• Consult with supervisors and doctors to decide on best treatment plan for residents.

• Observe and record patient behavior.

• Collect patient health history.

• Counsel and educate patients and their families on treatment plans.

• Provide care for ill, injured, convalescing patients.

• Collaborate with Registered Nurses to administer prescribed medications.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Essential Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the PA State Board of Nurse Examiners.

• Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the PA State Board of Nurse Examiners.

• Must be knowledgeable of nursing, medical practices and procedures.

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

• Time management skills.

• Aptitude for problem solving.
