Responsibilities 1. Performs physical examinations and institutes preventive health measures 2. Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess resident’s clinical problems and health care needs 3. Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition utilizing electronic health records. Maintains medical records and submits at least 10% of records to the Medical Director for bi-weekly review in accordance with the “Collaborative Practice Agreement” 4. Records all services performed for accurate billing for services provided in compliance with all local, state and federal laws, as well as payor rules and regulations; Submits billing documents to billing agency in a timely fashion 5. Works with the Medical Director, other in-house physicians, staff, residents and family members to develop a comprehensive resident care plan and reviews plan periodically with resident’s physician 6. Prescribes, recommends, or discontinues drugs and treatments in accordance with the “Collaborative Practice Agreement” and the state’s “Nurse Practice Act”; Assists EverTrue in establishing formularies for medication and other therapeutic measures 7. Prescribes therapy such as physical therapy, respiratory therapy, or related therapeutic procedures 8.
