Your Roel:

The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing the delegated nursing functions under the direction of the department manager and clinical nurses.

  • This position is responsible for:
    • Assisting with direct patient care and clerical duties that are an essential function in the coordination of optimal patient care, including, but not limited to
      • Scheduling patients
      • Patient hygiene/toileting
      • Mobility assistance
      • Interdepartmental transportation
      • Vital signs
      • Charting
      • Ordering supplies
      • Cleaning and stocking patient areas
      • Chart audits and interaction with all areas of the department .

  • RN/Nurse Manager

Supervises:

  • None

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) and successful completion of a Medical Assistant training course at a vocational/technical school.

 

Required Experience:

  • None

Preferred Experience:

  • Successful completion of a Medical Assistant externship and two (2) or more years of job-related experience preferred.
