Day Kimball Health is hiring for a Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room department in Putnam, CT. This position is part-time, 24 hours per week, day shift (7:00 am - 3:30pm).

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities
- Clinically competent RN who demonstrates expertise in one or more of the following areas: (SDA, ODS, IV Therapy or Endoscopy).
- Clinically competent RN who demonstrates expertise in the perioperative field.
- Performs circulating and/or scrub duties.
- Demonstrates understanding and practice of aseptic technique.
- Must have a mechanical ability to deal with a large number of machines and special equipment in the department, such as:
- Electrocautery units
- Autoclaves
- Tourniquets
- Positioning equipment
- Instrumentation of each service
- Video equipment
- Perioperative suite in total
- Ligasure
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. BSN preferred
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Connecticut required.
- Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification or equivalent within 3 months of hire required.
