This position works under the direction and supervision of the Clinic Supervisor, Practice Manager or appropriate staff to support in the delivery of cost-effective, clinically competent, reliable healthcare in a safe, respectful manner that ensures patient respect and dignity. The Clinic LPN LVN provides practical nursing and office functions including lab testing, telephone follow-up, basic patient education, patient scheduling and care throughout the clinical visit as supervised by the RN and Physician. Participates as a fully engaged member of the care team, by demonstrated commitment to service and compassion for the patients of Providence and their families.

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an approved Practical Nurse Program.
Upon hire: Washington Licensed Practical Nurse
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
1 year of experience working in a medical setting.

Preferred Qualifications

Coursework/Training and Two years of community college/business school training.
Coursework/Training and Additional course work in business or health care related subjects.
2 years of experience in a busy physician group practice.
Experience with electronic medical records.
