Job Description

 

We are looking for a compassionate and warm Home Health Aide to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services for our clients. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families.

 

Some responsibilities include:

Personal care

- Bathing, dressing, grooming etc.

- Meal and snack preparations

- Home Health aide should accompany patient on errands, shopping and medical appointments

- Provide companionship, empathy and basic emotional support

- Medication reminders

 

Housework

- Cleaning the floors ( mop , sweep , vacuum etc.)

- Washing dishes

- Cleaning the bathrooms

- Change the linen

- Laundry

 

Hours

  • 19.25 Hours per week

 

Pay

  • $19 -$21

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION: • Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older. • Must have a certificate from a Home Health Aide training program consistent with State requirements with evidence of ongoing in-service education to maintain the certificate. • Must have the maturity necessary for establishing and maintaining a good work relationship with the client, the client's family and agency personnel. • Have a sincere interest in and a sympathetic attitude towards caring for the sick and disabled. A HOME HEALTH AIDE MUST: • Get along well with others. • Be dependable and trustworthy. • Maintain compliance with all agency policies and procedures. • Maintain in-service requirements as specified in State and agency regulations.
