We are looking for caring and dependable individuals to join our team as State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs). In this essential role, you will provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents, helping them with daily living activities and contributing to a safe, clean, and compassionate environment. Qualifications

Must have successfully completed a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) program, or be enrolled and complete the program within four months of hire
Key Responsibilities

Provide hygiene assistance to residents
-
Assist residents with feeding and daily living needs
-
Perform basic treatments and procedures as directed by the charge nurse
-
Observe and report residents’ psycho-social and emotional needs
-
Notify the Charge Nurse of any changes in residents’ conditions
-
Maintain a clean and neat personal appearance
-
Demonstrate respectful and professional behavior toward co-workers and facility contacts
-
Use nursing home equipment properly and safely
-
Follow OSHA guidelines for handling and storing chemicals and equipment

Attend required in-service training programs

Assist in other areas as directed by the Director of Nursing
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods

Lift up to 50 pounds

Frequent bending, turning, pushing, and pulling

Use of both hands and arms

Exposure to odors, body secretions, and excrements

Potential exposure to behavioral disorders

Must be able to manage interpersonal conflicts effectively
