Your Role as a Homecare Nurse:

As a Homecare Nurse (RN or LPN/LVN), you will provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and following individualized care plans
  • Administering medications and performing wound care
  • Monitoring patients’ conditions and updating care teams
  • Educating patients and families on managing conditions
  • Offering emotional support and ensuring comfort

Our goal is to provide compassionate care that enhances the overall health and well-being of our patients.

Schedule:

  • Part-time positions available
  • Weekend shifts are especially needed

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current BLS certification
  • At least one year of nursing experience (home care experience preferred)
  • Experience with G-Tube care

Communication & Collaboration: Establish and maintain communication with the healthcare team, patients, and families. Inform the supervising Registered Nurse/Physician about patient activities, observations, and changes in condition. Provide patient and family education related to health conditions, treatment plans, and home care. Documentation & Compliance: Ensure accurate and confidential maintenance of patient medical records. Adhere to universal precautions and patient safety standards in all interactions. Follow Emory Healthcare's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Quality Improvement & Professional Development Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices in patient care.
