Physical Demands This position requires regular physical activity throughout the shift, including occasional heavy, moderate, and light lifting (up to 50 lbs). Employees must carry light loads short distances, reach above shoulder level, and push wheelchairs weighing up to 280 lbs multiple times per day. The role involves frequent walking and repeated movements such as twisting, bending, squatting, and turning for most of the shift. Required Education, Experience, Licenses, and Certifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 1 – 3 years’ current nursing assistant experience preferred. Nursing assistant experience in an acute setting may substitute for long-term nursing experience. Certification as a Nurse Assistant in the state of Oregon required, having successfully completed an Oregon State Board of Nursing approved training program, and must be in good standing with the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
