Description:

The Clinical Partner (CP) provides basic technical nursing skills (deemed competent) and delegated tasks (i.e. wound care, discontinuing a saline lock, discontinuing a Foley catheter) under the direction and/or supervision of the registered nurse in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, Florida Statues and BHSF policy. The CP is a valued member of the nursing team who works in close collaboration with the assigned RN to provide safe and quality patient centered care. Examples of nursing activities that cannot be delegated to unlicensed assistive personnel include: assessment and evaluation of the impact of interventions on care provided to the patient. Estimated pay range for this position is $17.27 - $22.45 / hour depending on experience.

Implements appropriate preventative measure for patients identified with safety risks (i.e. falls). 6. Schedules follow-up appointments and consults ensuring patient has appropriate information and provide as needed. 7. Schedules patients for labs, diagnostic procedures, OR, and radiation treatment (i.e. CT, MRI, Bone Scan, etc.) as ordered by physician. 8. Retrieves and/or assists clinical personnel in retrieving diagnostic studies as needed. 9. Retrieves and prints schedules for the next day. 10. Make sure all charges are placed in a separate bin to be pick up daily for appropriate charges and reconcile charges 0Facility fee from with visits. 11. Orders supplies for stock room 12. Maintains area stocked with the necessary supplies and forms. 13. Mail is to be picked up daily from the Mailroom. Professional Accountability 1.
