JOB HIGHLIGHTS

We are looking for an outstanding individual to join the nursing team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). You will support clinical services such as resident medication management, service planning and supervising the nursing staff. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by ensuring they receive excellent direct care.

Responsibilities:

Supervising and training the nursing staff to ensure quality of care
Verifying the proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments and orders
Participating in regular resident assessments and service planning, and following up with ancillary health care services as needed
Assisting with the move-in and move-out process including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications
Providing direct care when needed, such as during health emergencies or during on-call rotation
Relaying resident concerns or changes to the appropriate department manager
Communicating effectively with residents and staff
Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

The ideal candidate would be able to commute to the Coatesville office and other offices within Chester County on an as needed basis. The shift and location will be based off of the operational need. The Licensed Practical Nurse performs routine nursing care of the ill, injured or infirm under the direction of a licensed professional (RN) nurse, nurse practitioner and/or a physician. The LPN participates in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care in accordance with the scope of the LPN as defined by the State Board of Nursing and health system standards. Also supports operations through administrative duties as required.
