Scripps Mercy Hospital consists of two campuses in San Diego and Chula Vista.

Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista provides a variety of medical and surgical services, including inpatient and outpatient care. Within the hospital you’ll find our 24-hour emergency room and many other specialty services ranging from cancer care to stroke care.

This is a Full time, benefited OR RN position at Scripps Chula Vista. This role will be 4 days with 10.25 hour shifts that vary in schedule from 0630-17:15 or 10:15-2100. Call is required on rotating nights and weekends.

We offer a $4,000 hiring incentive and $3,000 in relocation assistance for eligible new hires.

Join our Surgery Department team as a Registered Nurse (RN) at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista where you will conduct patient care assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care, and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN will take primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under their supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

  • Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)

  • Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Required

  • One (1) year of RN experience in the Operating Room
  • California Registered Nurse License
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
  • Must be able to speak, read, and follow instructions in English
  • Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • 2+ years OR experience
