About the Role: Registered Nurse 

As an RN, you’ll play a key role in supporting the health, happiness, and daily experience of the residents at Edgewater in West Des Moines. 

As a Assisted Living RN, you will:  

  • Support the Director of Nursing in managing the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents. 
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring nursing policies and procedures to maintain regulatory compliance. 
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to enhance professional development. 
  • Participate in the creation and execution of individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. 
  • Monitor clinical outcomes and assist in implementing quality improvement initiatives to improve resident care and satisfaction. 
  • Help manage staffing schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient use of nursing resources. 
  • Address resident and family concerns, facilitating effective communication and ensuring a compassionate care environment.

Open Shifts Available: 

  • Four 9-hour shifts, every other weekend

  • Four 8-hour shifts (Full-Time), on-call every other weekend
