Responsibilities The Charge Nurse oversees the operation, organization, and flow of recipients through the unit; including but not limited to, delegating nursing assignments, overseeing admissions, transfers, and discharges. Demonstrates knowledge of Crisis Intervention and can de-escalate potentially aggressive situations. Assists with training and orientation of new staff and oversees assigned duties of staff and documentation to meet JCAHO and OMFL standards. RN responsibilities are met and abide by company policy.
