Blue Palms Health & Rehabilitation of DeLand is looking to hire dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses to join our amazing Team! We are offering a $1,500 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time Floor Nurses, as well as Weekly Pay, Great Benefits and a lots of fun activites for our staff.

Responsibilities

Provide basic medical care such as measuring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with personal hygiene tasks.
Monitor and record patients' health status and report any changes to the nursing staff.
Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
Perform routine procedures, including dressing changes and injections, under supervision.
Maintain accurate patient records, documenting care provided and patient responses to treatments.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.

Requirements

Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Florida.
Current CPR or BLS Card.
Strong understanding of nursing principles and practices, as well as applicable regulations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Compassionate nature and strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and families.
Basic computer skills for maintaining electronic health records and documentation
