Pay: $15.00 - $17 per hour
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected Hours: 20 – 45 per week

Location: Right at Home Cincinnati/NKY serves the entire Greater Cincinnati loop including Boone, Kenton, and Campbell counties in NKY.

Caregiver Must Haves:

  • Have 1 year of professional experience under nurse supervision within the last 2 years (a facility or agency with a nurse on staff) OR the completion of a CNA, STNA, MA certification

  • Valid Drivers License

  • Reliable Transportation to work with Auto Insurance

  • Must be able to Travel up to 25 miles for a shift based on availability, or any restrictions you or a client may have. (We do try to keep you close to home!)

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. without accommodations

  • Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.

Duties: Responsible for taking patient history and obtain vital signs Perform basic testing or screenings such as: vision, audio, urine drug screens, breath alcohol, EKGs, pulmonary function testing. Perform necessary phlebotomy for collection of laboratory samples. Accurately complete corresponding paperwork/computer work for lab tests ordered on blood, urine, tissue, and culture samples. Able to perform subcutaneous, intradermal, and intramuscular injections and accurately complete paperwork according to policy for that procedure. Perform point of care testing such as: strep, mono, glucose, influenza, Urine pregnancy, Urinalysis, blood glucose levels. Dispense and document medications and other treatment modalities. Insure sterile technique, instrument cleaning and sterilization, proper use of the autoclave. Schedule and coordinate necessary records for ancillary care for patients. Assist providers with exams and testing (pelvic exams, eye irrigations and ear irrigations, I & D’s and splinting/ ortho-glass preparation Perform occupational medicine testing such as: urine drug screens, breath alcohol testing, audiogram, and DOT physicals Maintain confidentiality with all patient information (HIPAA). Ensures equipment is in working order. Reports equipment malfunctions to manager. Logs laboratory procedures completed. Processes related paperwork using computer equipment as directed.
