You will work alongside the Nurse Manager to ensure safe, high quality patient care. Given the responsibility to provide on-going feedback to staff, promote and participate in departmental goals, and coordinate staffing needs and schedules, you would also collaborate with the Nurse Manager and other team members to interview and select staff to join the team. As the Assistant Nurse Manager, you would be supporting a team caring for women during and immediately following childbirth. Our healthcare team includes physicians, midwives, staff nurses, maternal child tech, and OB techs. Riddle has a level II NICU

Experience

Three to Five years of recent Labor Delivery Nurse experience required.
Prior charge nurse experience or other leadership experience preferred.

Education

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
BSN or other related Bachelor's Degree required.
MSN or other related Master's Degree preferred.

Licensures/Certifications

PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
Provider BLS (American Heart Association / American Red Cross) required.
Certification in specialty area is desired.
