A licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with experience in a school health setting is needed for a full-time contract position in Saint Petersburg, FL. This role involves supporting the daily operations of a school health clinic under the supervision of the District RN Supervisor, ensuring student health and safety through comprehensive nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications as prescribed
• Perform student triage and respond to emergencies promptly
• Maintain accurate immunization and health records
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and school staff regarding student health concerns
• Provide first aid and routine diabetic monitoring
• Collaborate with other clinic nurses to coordinate care
• Independently manage the health rooms daily activities
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) as needed

Qualifications:

• Active Florida LPN License required
• Pediatric experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to work full-time and commit to the school year contract duration
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
