We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) in the Las Vegas, NV area to administer patient care in accordance with a physician-established care plan.


This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient’s residence. We are currently hiring for both days, and nights for 12 hour shifts. Weekdays and weekends available.

Responsibilities
  • Execute physician prescribed plans of care
  • Complete compliant documentation of the care provided in the system of record
  • Manage and administer prescribed medication, treatment, and therapies
  • Conduct patient assessments, coordination of care
  • Perform various activities associated with daily living
  • Monitor vitals and GI intake and output
  • Assess skin integrity and administer wound care
  • Monitor for changes in the patient’s condition such as weight loss/gain, self-care abilities, and indicators of disease progression
  • Communicate with family members, physicians, case managers, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health of the patients
  • Provide education and training to the patient, their family, and/or the Home Health Aide
  • Work with patients to be done one-on-one in the patients home to provide for a comfortable environment
  • Collaborate with and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants and Personal Care Attendants
  • Perform other personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s needs


Minimum Qualifactions
  • Education, licensing, and certification: graduate of an accredited college or university, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
  • Current State or Compact License as a Registered Nurse
  • TB test and physical examination
  • Current CPR certification
  • Maintain required insurance
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move patients
  • Ability to operate under stressful conditions and make quick decisions
  • Must have dependable transportation and be willing to commute to the patient’s home
  • Ability to provide basic medical management up to medically fragile end of life care


Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience as an RN in a clinical or home health setting
  • Ability to assist with two person assist

GENERAL PURPOSE : The House Supervisor is responsible for directing and supervising functions and activities. In the absence of department heads and administration, may act as a representative in most hospital matters. The House Supervisor is accountable to the Acute Care Manager. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Medication administration, care management and may be required to give direct patient care, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients, and assisting in examinations and treatments, accepting one to two patient load, including ICU patients. Ability to lift, walk, carry and stand. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : 1. Consults with and advises/informs the Acute Care Manager concerning administrative issues, needs and problems of the day, evening, or night shifts. Orients and instructs new employees in cooperation with the Acute Care Manager. Participates in the assessment of staffing needs. May do some scheduling. Makes recommendations for personnel actions such as merit increases, promotions, transfers and disciplinary action. Gives guidance and counsel.
